A Day in the Life

A typical day for a Legal Assistant - Estate and Trust at our firm begins with a strategic review of your key information sources: calendar, task list in the firm's case management software, and your email inbox. You'll use these resources to create and implement action plans to move client matters forward, collaborate with attorneys and other team members for necessary information, and keep all parties involved in an estate's planning or administration up to date. Throughout the week, you'll discuss client matters, as well as opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, with your fellow team members.

Your mission in this role is to work closely with clients, beneficiaries, other stakeholders, and other team members to meticulously support the progression of matters toward completion. This includes precise data entry, drafting and proofreading essential legal documents, managing physical and digital files, and diligently tracking the status of each estate planning and estate/trust administration matter, all while providing crucial support and peace of mind to our clients. We work as a unified team of professionals, all committed to supporting our clients' goals and each other.

Schedule and Location Schedule

Full-time. Our office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Alternative schedules will be considered.
