
SENIOR PARALEGAL – Trust and Estate Planning
The Lewis Group of Companies, one of the nation’s largest privately-held real estate development companies, currently has an opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic individual for the full-time opportunity of Senior Paralegal, located within the Las Vegas, NV regional office.

Its ownership consists of numerous trusts for family members, and it operates a Nevada regulated private trust company which serves as trustee for these numerous trusts.
As a new member of our team, you will assist in the operation of this private trust company, work with the Lewis Group of Companies legal and support staff, and work with outside attorneys and consultants. This position will report to the Managing Directors of the private trust company.
Among your duties will be:
- Day-to-day management of the private trust company.
- Onboarding newly created trusts.
- Providing trustee services to existing trusts.
- Interacting with professional advisors on trust drafting and estate planning.
- Dealing with grantor desires and beneficiary needs.
- Coordinating distributions to beneficiaries.
- Asset servicing.
- Interacting with the family office and reporting to family members.
- Assisting in Investment and wealth management.
- Coordinating trust company meetings.
- Compliance with regulatory requirements.
- A four-year college degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is highly preferred
- Strong word processing (MS Word) and Excel skills are required.
At least 7+ years of Paralegal experience with preference for trust and estate-planning is preferred. - Experience with Adobe is highly preferred, to be able to bookmark multiple documents within one document.
- Soft skills should include the ability to interact with and support other departments, such as accounting and tax, along with critical thinking, project management, interpersonal/communication skills, and the ability to relate to multiple generations.
- Other duties as required.
