Job Description

Responsible for assisting the Legal Department with planning, organizing, and managing complex projects involving domestic and international law; undertaking administrative tasks; and handling special projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Provide administrative support to the Legal Department: maintain calendars, files and file systems, and legal research material; plan and schedule meetings and conferences. 
  • Prepare Organization’s form agreements.
  • Edit documents based on typed, handwritten and orally transmitted input; compare documents to verify consistency across multiple versions. 
  • Assist with and handle special projects relating to the Organization and the Legal Department. 
  • Assist with the organization and scheduling of Board and Board Committee meetings, including assisting with the organization, preparation and distribution of materials; conduct research. 
  • Assist with the administration of corporate policies and procedures. 
  • Assist with development and implementation of an agreement tracking system. 
  • Coordinate and track signatures for agreements and board consents. 
  • Handle administrative tasks related to insurance, agreement management and general legal support. 
  • Provide support to Safeguarding Department with respect to Credential Eligibility System requests.
  • Support Safeguarding Department, when necessary, with discovery disclosures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Position Type/Work Schedule:
Full Time, 40 hours a week. Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday.

The employee is required to sit for long periods; use close/distant vision; hear using the telephone; bend at the waist and knee; communicate verbally and electronically with worldwide constituency; use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
