Position Summary: The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and securing IT infrastructure, managing backups and disaster recovery, and optimizing cloud and onpremise environments. This role involves working with Azure and Microsoft Active Directory, managing automation tools, and ensuring high availability of critical systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in system maintenance, security policies, and infrastructure management while supporting the firm’s DevOps initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and securing IT
• infrastructure, managing backups and disaster recovery, and optimizing cloud and on premise environments. This role involves working with Azure and Microsoft Active
• Directory, managing automation tools, and ensuring high availability of critical systems.
• The ideal candidate will possess expertise in system maintenance, security policies, and
• infrastructure management while supporting the firm’s DevOps initiatives.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Cloud Infrastructure, or IT
• Operations.
• • Strong knowledge of Azure Infrastructure (Azure AD, Virtual Machines,
• Networking, IAM, Security Policies).
• • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and
• Identity Management.
• • Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration.
• • Experience managing backup solutions and disaster recovery plans.
• • Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance requirements.
• • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support.
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800,
- AZ-801).
- Experience with Power Automate and Logic Apps for process automation.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
- ITIL knowledge or experience in incident management and service desk
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
Physical Requirements:
- Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform
- job functions.
- Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the
- Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
- to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc. May occasionally
- ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
- Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a
