Our busy Carlsbad law firm is hiring a Real Estate Coordinator / Legal Assistant to support our legal team with transactional and administrative duties.

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Real Estate Coordinator / Legal Assistant to join our team. This full-time, in-office position supports our attorneys in managing real estate transactions, preparing legal documents, communicating with clients, and coordinating with title/escrow professionals. It's ideal for someone looking to pivot from escrow or real estate into a stable, long-term legal role with room to grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and organize legal and real estate documents

  • Support attorneys with transactional real estate files

  • Manage client communications, calendars, and deadlines

  • Coordinate with title companies, escrow officers, and lenders

  • Maintain digital file systems and case tracking tools

  • Assist with legal research, due diligence, and administrative support

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a transaction coordinator, escrow/title officer, loan processor, or real estate/legal administrator

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, and PDF software

  • Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment

  • Bonus: Interest in real estate law or desire to grow in the legal field

  • Plus: Social media knowledge and comfort with online tools

  • Preferred: College degree
