Job Description

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Sacramento or Auburn office (depending on the needs of the firm).

Job Description

  • Meet with prospective and existing clients to assess estate planning needs and provide recommendations.
  • Draft and review estate planning documents, ensuring they align with client goals and current laws.
  • Guide clients through the engagement process, including fee discussions and payment collection.
  • Conduct client meetings to review, update, and finalize estate plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, meetings, and legal documents.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to provide comprehensive estate planning solutions.
  • Stay current with estate planning, trust, and probate laws to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Participate in regular attorney meetings and firm-wide meetings to discuss complex cases and legal updates.

Qualifications

  • Active California State Bar license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of estate planning experience.
  • Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and income tax laws.
  • State Bar Certified Specialist in Trusts, Wills & Probate preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills.
  • Proficiency in legal technology and case management systems.
