
Legal Advertising- Regional Accounts Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Regional Accounts Manager to oversee the operations of our Legal Advertising division in San Diego County. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth office functionality, supporting and managing staff, driving sales initiatives, maintaining high levels of customer service, and collaborating with both internal and government stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Office & Staff Management
- Maintain efficient daily operations of the San Diego office.
- Manage administrative tasks including bill payments, office contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Supervise and support office staff; address issues as they arise and coordinate with appropriate internal or external contacts for resolution.
- Provide desk coverage during staff absences and assist in employee oversight.
- Ensure office compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Sales & Account Development
- Make regular sales calls to prospective customers, with a focus on government agencies and legal professionals.
- Research and gather competitive intelligence and prospect data specific to San Diego County.
- Collaborate with the Government Sales Director and other company leaders to pursue new advertising opportunities.
- Monitor competitor publications to identify trends and maintain a competitive edge in legal advertising services.
Customer Service & Training
- Provide excellent customer service and support to both new and existing clients.
- Conduct AdTech training sessions tailored to clients' specific needs and ensure successful onboarding.
- Maintain strong communication and rapport with government entities and other legal advertising clients.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Prepare and submit monthly performance and sales reports to the Los Angeles management team.
- Attend internal management meetings and external client meetings as needed.
- Manage and update sales and prospect data in Excel and other tracking systems.
- Coordinate with the Legal Advertising management team to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
Collections & Billing
- Handle collections, including sending invoices and ad proofs to clients.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain accurate billing records.
Fictitious Business Name Filings
- Purchase and manage lists of new fictitious business name filers from the county.
- Generate and distribute mailing labels for advertising campaigns targeting new filers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or office administration (preferably in the legal or advertising industry).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other administrative tools.
- Familiarity with government sales or public records-based marketing is a plus.
- Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel locally and attend off-site meetings as needed.
