Position Overview:

The Legal and Government Relations Intern will support legal compliance, risk management, and regulatory engagement. This internship will provide a view of how legal and government affairs intersect.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with drafting legal memos, compliance briefs, and stakeholder communications.
  • Assist in preparing meetings, site visits, or workshops with officials and support responses to legislative inquiries.
  • Work cross-functionally with legal, environmental, safety, operations, and government affairs team to align regulatory strategies.
  • Research and stay up to date with U.S. federal and state legal, regulatory and policy trends.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Law, International Affairs, Public Policy, or a related studies.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing capabilities.
