Overview

Nelson Mullins is looking to add a Litigation Associate to join its Construction litigation group in the Orlando office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic team and a growing office. The ideal candidate has experience in construction litigation. 

A Day in the Life

Our office occupies two floors of the 390 North building located in the heart of downtown Orlando with a view of Lake Eola. You will be joining a knowledgeable team involved in litigation, claims analysis and risk management, and large-scale infrastructure programs and projects (procurement, contracting, and claims). We Know You

With at least 4 years of versatile commercial or construction litigation experience, you have a demonstrated ability to take complex cases from start to finish through all forms of dispute resolution. With valuable court hearing experience, preferably dispositive motion practice, you are able to analyze complex fact patterns to applicable case and statutory law, to develop a case for litigation and trial. Demonstrated deposition experience, preferably involving the taking and defending of key fact witnesses and expert witnesses; and demonstrated experience in various modes of dispute resolution, including mediation, with arbitration and trial experience is a plus. You have respectable academic credentials, but more importantly, a common sense, practical approach to litigation, while consistently applying your diligent work ethic with a positive attitude. Applicants must be admitted to and in Good Standing with the Florida Bar.
