Corporate Attorney

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid — minimum 3 days onsite)
Experience: 2+ years of experience
Hours: 1500 billable - 1800 billable hours but no set requirement + flexible
Compensation: $150k+

About the Role

We are seeking a sharp, business-minded Corporate Attorney with strong foundational experience in general corporate work and a preference for emerging companies, venture capital, and startup representation. This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, client-facing work, and the ability to grow into an equity partner quickly — sometimes within the first month of joining.

What You’ll Do

• Advise startups, founders, and emerging companies on entity formation, governance, capitalization, and commercial matters.

• Support and lead venture financings, SAFE/convertible note rounds, and related EC/VC transactions.

• Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements, operational contracts, and corporate documents.

• Provide strategic legal guidance that aligns with clients’ growth and scaling goals.

• Work directly with the founding partner on high-impact client matters across innovative industries.

Ideal Background

• 2+ years of experience in corporate/transactional work. (Bonus: BigLaw)

• Experience with (or strong interest in) EC/VC, startup counseling, and early-stage companies.

• Entrepreneurial mindset — willingness to build relationships and bring in business.

• Strong drafting skills and ability to operate independently with partner support.
