The private wealth practice group has an excellent opportunity for a Legal Secretary in the Cleveland, OH office. This is a non-exempt position that reports to the Regional Human Resources Manager and has an in-person presence of four days per week in the Cleveland office, with one day remote.
Some of the essential functions include:
- Prepare and organize documents for client meetings and ensure that all necessary paperwork is available and in order.
- Regularly communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on the status of their estate planning matters.
- Maintain attorney's calendar, schedule and coordinate client meetings, including initial consultations and document signings.
- Answer client inquiries, either by phone or email, and aid with completing forms and understanding documents.
- Partner with attorneys and their clients on the billing process.
Preferred skills, knowledge, abilities:
- Strong understanding of private wealth terminology and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong client service orientation and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
