POSITION SUMMARY
We are hiring a Claimant Service Representative for our Litigation Support Team to manage claimant contact, queries and complaints. You will also be tasked to keep records, modifications, and escalate complaints across several communication channels. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when claimants are frustrated and have experience working with computers, answering phones and some medical terminology is helpful.
Position Location: Houston, TX (ON SITE)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward claimants.
- Responding promptly to claimant inquiries.
- Communicating with claimants through various channels.
- Acknowledging and resolving claimant complaints.
- Knowledgeable/fast learner.
- Keeping records of claimant interactions, comments and complaints.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Providing feedback on the efficiency of the claimant service process.
- Ensure claimant satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proven customer support experience.
- Track record of over-achieving quota.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Familiar with Customer Resource Management systems and practices.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
