Description
The client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney with a minimum of 5 years in insurance defense. The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in Texas and be in good standing with the Texas Bar. Additionally, candidates must have completed the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and professional liability.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Develop and execute case strategies from inception through trial or settlement.
Engage in pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings, including depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
Provide clients with regular updates and legal advice, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the legal process.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Maintain accurate and timely case records and documentation.
Stay current with developments in insurance defense law and fulfill all CLE requirements.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense.
Proven ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with CLE requirements.
