Job Description:

A St. Louis-based office seeks a Labor & Employment associate with 4+ years of experience. Ideal candidates should have experience addressing a broad range of employment matters, including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes. Litigation experience should encompass researching and drafting memoranda, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing motions. Familiarity with traditional labor matters, such as unfair labor practices under the National Labor Relations Act and disputes involving collective bargaining agreements, is a plus. Additional responsibilities include drafting workplace policies, conducting employee training sessions, and advising public and private employers on routine employment issues. Candidates should be detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate excellent writing, communication, and legal research skills.


Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
• Admission to the Missouri bar
• Ability to work independently and interface directly with attorneys and clients
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Outstanding judgment and ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Ability to develop and implement legal strategies
• Admission to other state bars is a plus, but not required
