Job Description:
The paralegal will provide comprehensive support for managing skilled nursing, residential care, and assisted living facilities, as well as assisting with other business operations. The role involves supporting various internal teams, with a primary focus on processes and tools related to facility operations.
Qualifications:
- Paralegal degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in legal research and document analysis
- Excellent grammar, proofreading skills, and attention to detail
- Computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and calendar functions
- Familiarity with Case.net and legal research tools like Westlaw or Lexis
- Problem-solving mindset, ability to prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative and proactive team player capable of working well with others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with and case management systems.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal probate laws and regulations.
