Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities 

  • You will provide technical and specialized professional and administrative duties for assigned investigative units, including preparing case folders, letters, and other documentation, and entering information into applicable databases.  
  • You will perform various administrative activities to support complaint analysts including uploading and scanning complaints, correspondence, and documentation into applicable systems and preparing correspondence and documentation.
  • You will coordinate and schedule committee meetings and provide additional administrative support such as taking minutes and preparing follow-up documentation, such as reports and travel requests.   
  • You will track cases through the investigative process and enter and upload information into applicable databases.  
  • You will perform other administrative duties related to running reports, scheduling and attending meetings, responding to customer inquiries, and receiving and distributing mail and other correspondence.  

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Minimum Qualifications 

  • A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services (a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience).   

Preferred Qualifications 

  • A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant program experience.  
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of office management and general administrative functions.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.  
  • Strong customer service skills.  
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.  
  • Ability to understand and follow routine and complex instructions.  
  • Considerable skill in the use of office equipment, computers, and Microsoft products.   

Other Requirements

  • Position works in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and standing.
  • Occasional work outside of normal office hours.
  • May be required to lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 25 lbs.  
  • Daily filing, data entry, telephone and computer use.
