Responsibilities
- You will provide technical and specialized professional and administrative duties for assigned investigative units, including preparing case folders, letters, and other documentation, and entering information into applicable databases.
- You will perform various administrative activities to support complaint analysts including uploading and scanning complaints, correspondence, and documentation into applicable systems and preparing correspondence and documentation.
- You will coordinate and schedule committee meetings and provide additional administrative support such as taking minutes and preparing follow-up documentation, such as reports and travel requests.
- You will track cases through the investigative process and enter and upload information into applicable databases.
- You will perform other administrative duties related to running reports, scheduling and attending meetings, responding to customer inquiries, and receiving and distributing mail and other correspondence.
- Minimum and Additional Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services (a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant program experience.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of office management and general administrative functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow routine and complex instructions.
- Considerable skill in the use of office equipment, computers, and Microsoft products.
Other Requirements
- Position works in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and standing.
- Occasional work outside of normal office hours.
- May be required to lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Daily filing, data entry, telephone and computer use.
