
Job Description
We are working on behalf of an Am Law 10 firm to recruit a Marketing Manager, Client Engagement to serve as a key go-to marketing resource for the Chicago office. The Manager will work directly with office and regional leaders to develop and execute client development strategies and manage a range of targeted marketing activities that align with client needs and support the business objectives of the office/region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement innovative marketing initiatives, manage regional events, and oversee office marketing budgets.
- Client Engagement & Brand Visibility: Enhance lawyer and firm visibility through CRM use, rankings and awards submissions, external communications, media opportunities, and professional organization involvement.
- Collaboration & Integration: Work cross-functionally with practice groups, PR, communications, and market intelligence teams; support lateral integration and contribute to leadership meetings.
Credentials and Expertise:
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or JD is a strong plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of business development, marketing, or related experience.
- Deep understanding of the local market for legal services and the competitive landscape.
- Strong writing, proofreading, presentation, and critical thinking abilities, with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
