An outstanding law firm is seeking a Patent Agent to join its growing Intellectual Property

Practice Group in Phoenix. This role focuses on procuring patent protection for innovative and emerging technologies in Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Semiconductor Manufacturing & Packaging.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.

· 1–2 years’ experience in patent prosecution.

· Industry experience in software, AI, ML, and semiconductors is strongly preferred.

· Registered with the USPTO.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Draft, file, and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.

· Work closely with clients and inventors to develop filing strategies and manage IP portfolios.

· Conduct freedom-to-operate, due diligence, and validity assessments.

· Respond to office actions and interact with the USPTO and international patent offices.

· Provide support in litigation and patent strategy development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.

· Competitive salary range: $88,480 – $156,250, depending on experience and location.
