About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Compliance Analyst/Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.What you will do:
- Conduct reviews of engagement letters to identify variances from standard terms
- Maintain a contract management database to track term agreements
- Create and maintain standardized templates for firmwide use for different project types
- Assist with Client Due Diligence and Compliance Requests by responding to corporate-related requests from clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Handle responses to subpoenas and other document requests
- Identify and advise on emerging issues and industry trends to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulations and policies, and stay up-to-date on employment law and regulations
- Provide guidance and support on immigration law-related matters
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
What you will need:
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a contract management or compliance role
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Business, or a related field
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- Strong understanding of contract law and terminology
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and contract management software
- Experience with employment law and immigration law a plus
