The Disbursement Coordinator is responsible for working in conjunction with the team to work settled cases through the disbursement process, removing roadblocks to disbursement, and providing feedback to the Disbursement Specialist.

- Supporting to ensure 300k in fees weekly move through the disbursement team.
- Assisting with the disbursement process and working cases through the process timely.
- Assure all liens, BVs and reductions are secured to create the Settlement Worksheet.
- Provide feedback to the Disbursement Specialist for any disbursement roadblocks.
- Responsible for documenting all actions and communication in the client’s case file.
- Meet KPIs set for this position to include average/median duration between settled and sent to accounting/disbursement and % of goals for fees met.
- Attends required morning and monthly meetings.
- Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Education / Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- Law firm disbursement experience preferred.
- Litigation or pre-litigation experience working for a law firm or similar preferred.
- Experience with auto accidents, injury claims or litigation preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task, and work both within a team and independently.

Work Environment:
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
Mobility:
Primarily sedentary, able to sit for long periods of time.
Physical Demands:
Ability to speak, see and hear other personnel. Ability to communicate both in verbal and written form. Capable of using a telephone and computer keyboard. Able to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to travel within the facility and to other locations as required.
