Job Title: Senior Associate – Legal (First-Party Property)
Location: Miami Office - Onsite
Reports To: Managing Partner
Position Type: Full-time, Exempt


About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our growing, firm. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator with 7–10 years of experience and a strong background in first-party property insurance litigation, preferably coming from the defense side.

As a Senior Associate, you will take a leadership role in managing cases, supervising junior attorneys, and representing policyholders in disputes against insurance companies. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position offering courtroom experience, management responsibility, and a supportive team culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage first-party property insurance cases from intake to resolution.
  • Represent policyholders in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials (as first or second chair).
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure case progression.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Maintain a high level of client communication and advocacy.
  • Collaborate closely with partners on complex litigation strategies.
  • Uphold firm values of professionalism, humility, and client-centered service.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in Florida.
  • 5–10 years of litigation experience, preferably in:
    • First-party property insurance
    • Insurance defense
    • Personal injury litigation
    • Commercial litigation (contract law knowledge a plus)
  • Trial experience.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to pivot between tasks and handle a high-volume, fast-moving caseload.
  • Comfortable supervising and delegating work.
  • No book of business required (but welcomed if available).
