Paralegal (Regulatory)

Pillsbury is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base of regulatory compliance, government regulations, and legal procedures. In this role, you will provide support to the Global Business Unit by assisting with regulatory filings, maintaining compliance records, conducting legal research, and assisting attorneys in navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory filings and documents to government agencies ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and deadlines. 

• Conduct research on federal, state, and local regulations to support ongoing compliance matters and new regulatory changes. 

• Organize, maintain, and update compliance and regulatory records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards. 

• Assist in monitoring the organization’s compliance with relevant regulations and standards, providing support in audits, investigations, and examinations. 

• Draft and review correspondence related to regulatory matters, working closely with government agencies and internal teams. 

• Provide general paralegal support to attorneys handling regulatory matters, including preparing discovery, organizing case files, and assisting with investigations. 

• Assist in reviewing contracts for compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. 

• Support internal training programs and initiatives related to regulatory compliance and assist in the development of policies and procedures. 

Qualifications: 

• Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate . Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus. 

• 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on regulatory compliance, government filings, or a related field. 

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. 

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

• Experience with regulatory filing systems and compliance tracking tools. 

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Paralegal Certification (NALA or NFPA). 

• Familiarity with compliance management software and databases. 

Washington DC pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience, is $60,000 - $95,000.
