Job Description

This internship is funded through the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) and has eligibility requirements.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The work involves assisting with planning, developing, and implementing an agency program and providing consultative services and technical assistance to program staff, government agencies, community organizations, or the general public. The role operates under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

 

Role and Responsibilities

Depending on organizational needs, may:

  •  Meets with NCP clients at court or via zoom, schedules intake appointments, and obtains required documentation, including copies of Court Orders or Establishment Referrals, signed OAG Authorization to Release Information Forms, and other necessary enrollment forms (e.g., Participation Agreement, Orientation to Complaint, etc.).
  •  Schedule follow-up appointments as needed. 
  •  Informs assigned WSB staff about the completed documents and appointments.  
  •  Serves as a point of contact to judges, attorneys, staff, and the general public, assisting in explaining the services offered by WSB. 
  •  Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by WSB.  
     
     

Experience and Education Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college or university with major coursework in a field relevant to the assignment is generally preferred.

Must have exceptional attention to detail.

Additional Notes

Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet requirements to be included as an authorized driver on the Workforce Solutions Borderplex Commercial Package Policy as stipulated by the insurance carrier. Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks.
