About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Trial Counsel with a strong background in defending sexual torts and misconduct claims. This role is ideal for a seasoned trial attorney who thrives in high-stakes, sensitive litigation matters and is ready to lead defense teams, develop case strategies, and deliver exceptional courtroom advocacy.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle complex, high-profile sexual torts defense cases from inception through trial.
- Serve as lead trial counsel, representing institutions, businesses, and professionals in litigation involving allegations of misconduct.
- Develop and execute strategic defense approaches to mitigate risk and prevent Nuclear Verdicts®.
- Provide counsel to clients on risk management, compliance, and litigation strategy.
- Mentor and collaborate with litigation teams, ensuring excellence in trial preparation and execution.

Who You Are
8+ years of trial experience, with a focus on sexual torts, misconduct defense, or high-exposure civil litigation.
Proven track record of success in defending sensitive and complex cases.
Exceptional case management and trial advocacy skills in high-pressure environments.
Discretion and strategic thinking, with the ability to navigate challenging litigation matters.
Passion for mentorship and developing the next generation of trial attorneys.

- Develop a case theme that is more compelling than any plaintiff ploy for sympathy or anger

- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs and trials
- Work as part of a team with all levels of experiences
- Routine communications with clients
- Cultivate relationships with the firm’s existing and future clients
- Provide leadership and direction with respect to less experienced attorneys
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Must be licensed in your state
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition and trial preparation
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial
- Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
- Experience with time management systems
- Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision
- Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills
