Job Summary: 

The Paralegal, Corporate plays a critical role in supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal team.  This position will be under the direct supervision of an attorney with the firm and will perform substantive legal work and status updates that requires basic knowledge of the law and legal concepts. Must possess the ability to recognize, evaluate, organize, analyze, and communicate relevant facts and legal concepts. 

Responsibilities: 

Assist attorneys in the preparation and administration of trusts and estates.
Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
Maintain and organize client files and records.
Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in the estate planning process.
Coordinate and manage the probate process, including filing necessary documents with the court.
Assist in the preparation of estate tax returns and other related financial documents.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications: 

Associate's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred but not required
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in corporate environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
