Experienced Nursing Home & Healthcare Defense Litigation Paralegal – On-Site, Miami, FL

Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. (CSK) is seeking a skilled and driven Paralegal to join our dynamic Miami office. We are defense counsel representing nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home health agencies, and healthcare providers in matters involving medical negligence, long-term care litigation, premises liability, wrongful death, and general liability claims. Qualifications:

• Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation or NALA Certified Paralegal (CP) required
• 5+ years of paralegal experience handling circuit court litigation matters
• 5+ years of experience in insurance defense, healthcare defense, nursing home/ALF litigation, or medical malpractice defense
• Experience managing nursing home, assisted living facility (ALF), and/or home health agency cases, including review of medical records, incident reports, and discovery coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Westlaw
• Familiarity with Litify, iManage, or other case/document management software (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume litigation files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
We’re looking for an experienced, organized, and self-motivated professional to assist attorneys with all phases of litigation—from inception through trial. Responsibilities include pretrial investigation, discovery support and trial preparation. 

Important: This is an on-site position. Remote work is not available. Candidates must currently reside in South Florida.
