Job Description
We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 1 day per week.
Home Office Legal is seeking a motivated individual to lead our eBilling team as a Manager. The position requires the person to:
- Manage department activities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. Managerial responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reporting to Management the progress and problems with meeting Company objectives;
- Planning, assigning, and directing work to meet Company objectives;
- Training associates and conducting performance appraisals;
- Rewarding and disciplining associates;
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems;
- Interviewing candidates and associates to fill open positions.
- Review the progress made in meeting objectives, analyze operating procedures, and prepare records or reports for management including conclusions and recommendations for the solution of problems.
- Make suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, termination, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of associates.
- Implement policies established by Senior Management.
- Coordinate activities with other departments and divisions.
- Initiate, review, and answer correspondence by telephone, email, and letter.
- Work effectively with clients and associates at all levels.
- Regular and predictable attendance in meeting a defined work schedule.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Advanced knowledge of the specific area of responsibility and successful experience in a managerial position is preferred.
- Demonstrated increasing levels of leadership and responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree or several years related experience or training
- Familiarity with eBilling software, UTBMS codes, bill submission, and bill review best practices and procedures is preferred.
- Experience analyzing eBilling data, working with metrics and having the ability to make recommendations based on that information is preferred.
- Actively engaged in Company approved continuing education programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms
- Possess good problem resolution skills.
- Demonstrates innovativeness and continually seeks more efficient ways to process and handle work.
- Demonstrates basic management skills such as directing the activities of the staff, motivation, delegation, communication, training, discipline, and the development of associates.
