Job Description
Amazon is seeking a self-motivated, organized and experienced Executive Assistant to support the VP of Amazon Web Services’ Regulatory & Compliance Legal team. This is a great opportunity to be a key member of a global, collaborative and fast-moving legal team. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize across multiple critical requests. High integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important, as is a great sense of humor. The candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.
Key job responsibilities
• Management of calendars and scheduling, using discretion and independent judgment in the screening and prioritization of the VP’s time
• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables across the team and follow up on outstanding items
• Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
• Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
• Act as a liaison for the VP’s direct reports
• Management of team space, including moves and reconfiguration
• Management of domestic and international travel and expense reports
• Have fun at work and help others do the same
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- 5+ years of executive assistant experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
