The Senior Vice President, Director of Attorney Banking is responsible for establishing, growing, and managing the attorney and law firm banking portfolio to include both deposit and lending relationships across the Banks markets. You will develop new business opportunities, structuring and closing commercial loans. You will also manage any legal matters for Climate First Bank including contract review, real estate holdings and acquisitions, conferring with any outside legal counsel on bank matters.

As the Jacksonville office grows, you will build a team of Attorney Bankers and support the establishment of a brick and mortar Branch Office.

• Proactively identify and solicit new loan opportunities through business development efforts.
• Achieve sales meeting and sales call goals and document them in Salesforce.
• Cross-sell all applicable financial products, seeking to develop and service desirable and profitable loans.
• Solicit, negotiate, and coordinate loan closings.
• Monitor the credit quality of the loan portfolio to ensure proper credit grade application and risk level identification for each loan.
• Keep customers closely informed, explain the loan process, answer all questions promptly, advise borrowers on financial status and methods of payment.
• Build out an Attorney Banking team and support a future brick and mortar branch office in Jacksonville.
• Represent Climate First Bank in its market through active participation in community affairs and events.
• Contribute to achieving all relevant sustainability goals, including the Community Reinvestment Act and multi-cultural lending goals.

You have exceptional interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills. You have held Business Development responsibilities within the Jacksonville legal ecosystem. You have used your superior customer service skills to build and expand client relationships, and your sharp organization skills allow you to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Juris Doctorate (JD)
• Experience in winning new business for a law firm
• Motivated to learn the banking industry
• Experience leading a team or mentoring others
• Possess the initiative to obtain education related to sustainability practices.
