
Inside Sales Specialist
The Inside Sales Associate plays a critical role within the Sales team, driving lead generation and outreach efforts in the class action and mass tort settlement administration space. With a hunter mentality, the Inside Sales Associate proactively connects with prospective law firms across the United States, identifying their needs and introducing them to Verus’ services and solutions.
This role requires expertise in researching and analyzing client target data, executing high-volume outreach campaigns that include phone calls, tailored email cadences and LinkedIn prospecting. The Inside Sales Associate serves as the first point of contact with many prospects, laying the groundwork for the Sales Managers to advance the opportunity through the sales funnel.
Working closely with Marketing and Sales, the Inside Sales Associate follows up on leads generated through various channels, supports campaign effectiveness, and contributes to market intelligence. This individual is expected to be skilled in Salesforce and Excel, using both to track outreach efforts, measure progress, forecast sales, and present performance reports to the broader Sales and Marketing teams.
The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for all aspects of the inside sales process—from prospecting and outreach to reporting and process optimization—and collaborates with internal teams to ensure alignment with company growth objectives. Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and communication are essential in this fast-paced and results-driven position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Secure meetings for Sales Managers
- Execute targeted outreach through phone calls, email cadences and LinkedIn prospecting to develop new business opportunities in alignment with company goals.
- Research and analyze client data to identify trends, key contacts, and outreach opportunities across the mass tort and class action landscape.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, tracking engagement, campaign performance, and lead status.
- Work in partnership with Marketing to follow up on inbound leads and support outbound campaign efforts.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to prepare them for meetings with interested prospects by providing detailed prospect summaries and opportunity insights.
- Prepare and present regular reports using Salesforce and Excel to track KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Research Law firms involved in Mass Tort and Class Action cases
- Stay informed on mass tort and class action industry developments to identify potential business opportunities.
- Identify ways to refine the outreach strategy and sales process in collaboration with the sales and marketing team to improve lead generation and conversion rates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Competencies
- 3–5 years of B2B inside sales or client-facing experience, preferably in legal services, class action, or mass tort.
- Proven success with outbound calling and cold outreach.
- Experience creating and executing email cadences for lead generation.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, with a strong ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to draw insights from data.

Working Conditions
