INVESTMENT FUNDS ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY LOCATION: CHARLOTTE, NC
 
 
INTERNATIONAL AMLAW 50 FIRM has an immediate opening for Investment Funds Associate Attorneys in their Charlotte office
 
Candidate Profile:
  • JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
  • Active Bar Admission in North Carolina.
  • 4–6 years of substantive experience in investment management and fund formation.
  • Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is highly advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and other types of funds employing alternative investment strategies.
  • Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds).
  • Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
  • Contribute to the firm's expanding investment funds practice, directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.
