  • Conduct and concisely summarize legal research on topics involving regulatory compliance, wildfire, contractual obligations, employment law, and other areas pertinent to Idaho Power’s operations.
  • Support the team in managing litigation and pre-litigation matters, including document review, drafting correspondence, and working with outside counsel.
  • Participate in compliance initiatives and risk mitigation by assisting with legal risk assessments, process documents, and policy development.
  • Review company policies/procedures to ensure alignment with evolving legal and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and analyze new legal and regulatory developments.
  • Participate in department meetings and trainings given by legal staff.
  • Perform other tasks at the direction of the General Counsel, attorneys, or legal professionals.

In addition to the meaningful work we do, we offer work-life balance, competitive pay and benefits, an employee incentive plan, and both a 401k employer-match and a pension plan, making Idaho Power one of the best employers in the state.
