Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Associate to join the Fanatics Collectibles legal team. The role will be based at Fanatics’ global headquarters in NYC’s West Village. Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.

 

Responsibilities
The Paralegal / Legal Associate will provide support for a wide variety of matters for the Collectibles team including, without limitation, the following key day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a file system for legal documents;
  • Oversee day-to-day management of vendor and partner onboarding and review process; 
  • Acts as liaison between company attorneys, outside counsel, organizations and in-house employees;
  • Prepare drafts of written communications, including contracts, licenses, letters, notices, and other related documents;
  • Support entity management and compliance by maintain business level corporate records 
  • Act as business level coordinator of operational entity compliance
  • Assist in maintaining corporate records and governance policies specific to the Operating Company.
  • Assist with legal research and information gathering;
  • Assist with litigation workstreams, including hearing / deposition transcripts, eDiscovery, electronic filings, and trial preparation;
  • Assist with management of IP portfolio maintenance, clearance, and brand protection matters;
  • Coordinate outside counsel engagements, invoices and payment;
  • Provide transactional support; and
  • Updating policies and preparing materials for training sessions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • Preexisting paralegal experience is a must - At least three (3) years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, including working with contract management systems and processes.
  • Paralegal certificate/experience is a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills; ease in working with people up and down the organizational hierarchy
  • Proficiency in MS Office skills (i.e., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), Adobe, and DocuSign. AI use a plus.
  • The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000 which represents base pay only and does not include incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as experience and other qualifications.
