Job Description

Job Title: In-House Corporate Attorney (For all Indra Companies in the US- Indra Air Traffic, Indra USA, and Minsait ACS)

Reports to: Senior Director for USA, Canada, Brazil, and Puerto Rico


Indra is seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House Corporate Attorney to oversee legal operations across its US entities. The successful candidate will provide strategic legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and labor matters, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. This role requires strong expertise in public acquisitions within the defense, mobility, and air traffic sectors (FAR/DFARS) and a proven ability to navigate complex legal frameworks.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, commercial transactions, labor law, and compliance.
  • Monitor legal developments and new regulations impacting the company's operations.
  • Oversee legal aspects of public acquisition contracts, ensuring adherence to FAR/DFARS requirements.
  • Supervise external law firms, ensuring high-quality and cost-efficient legal services.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, HR, and commercial teams to support business objectives.
  • Act as a business partner, offering proactive legal solutions to mitigate risks and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally with global teams, particularly in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil.
  • Manage multiple legal projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Law degree from a recognized university; bar admission required.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in corporate legal affairs, preferably within a multinational company or leading law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations, particularly in defense, mobility, and air traffic sectors.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and labor law matters.
  • Ability to navigate cross-cultural environments and collaborate effectively with global teams.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred.
  • Hybrid role- 3 days in office.
