Role Overview

Join our legal operations team as a Paralegal / Office Administrator. Support clients, advisors, executives, and office needs through legal research, document preparation, client communications, scheduling, vendor coordination, and general admin tasks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research, summarize findings, and assist with IP litigation and patent matters.

  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence using tools like DocuSign and Microsoft Office.

  • Manage client communications, schedule meetings, track deadlines, and coordinate calendars.

  • Handle office admin: answer phones, organize files (digital/physical), manage supplies, process mail/deliveries, and support vendor relations.

  • Prepare case files, exhibits, and materials for meetings or hearings; maintain case management systems.

  • Perform general office coordination to ensure smooth operations in a hybrid setup in Austin.

Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in legal studies, business, or related field (paralegal certificate preferred but not required per Texas standards).

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle priorities.

  • Excellent communication (written/verbal) and proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • 1+ years in legal, admin, or professional services (entry-level considered with relevant coursework).

  • Discreet, proactive, and eager to learn IP/tech law.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with litigation, IP, or case management software.

  • Office admin experience (scheduling, filing, client service).

  • Austin, TX hybrid work availability.
