Manning Gross & Massenburg LLP See More Job Openings by This EmployerMG+M The Law Firm (MG+M) is seeking to add an experienced litigation associate to its Boston office in our Construction and Design Professionals Practice Groups, which represents contractors, construction managers, owners, developers, architects, engineers, and their general and professional liability insurers. We are at the forefront of emerging issues facing design and construction professionals, such as the use of AI, alternative construction delivery models, and project specific risk and insurance frameworks.

The firm's expertise is diverse but focused in the areas of toxic tort, complex product liability, construction and design professionals, general liability, and commercial litigation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently manage an active litigation caseload, from inception to trial.
- Interface with clients and insurance professionals.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Retain and work with expert witnesses.
- Engage in written discovery.
- Draft motions and oppositions, and argue same at hearings.
- Negotiate settlements independently and at mediation.
- Evaluate liability and damages issues and prepare exposure evaluations.
- Trial preparation and support.
- Maintain accurate and timely time records.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience representing clients in construction and/or design professional litigation.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to practice in MA with admission in other New England states preferred.
- Interest in construction projects.
- Capable of independent work.
- Work in an organized and efficient manner.
- Superior research and writing skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to analyze complex matters.
