Job Description

  • Maintain all Intellectual Property litigation files, pleadings binders, barcodes, docket sheets and scheduling/calendaring dates
  • Assist other paralegals and attorneys with litigation matters
  • Create and maintain digital and physical files
  • Assist with the preparation of civil seizure documentation and related service of process
  • Prepare materials and evidence for court hearings, conferences and trials
  • E-file documents with federal and state courts
  • Access Pacer to obtain copies of documents filed electronically
  • Research into individual and entity location, assets and contact information
  • Prepare and serve Cease & Desist letters
  • Open new client/matter numbers and perform requisite conflicts checks
  • Retrieve and send files from/to storage
  • Perform copy and scan projects
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with litigation or intellectual property
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
