Job Description:

Primary Function: Manages contract review system for legal counsel; assists General Counsel in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings; conducts legal research, drafts legal documents, organizes case files, and manages exhibits; coordinates employment-based immigration for university-sponsored immigration petitions in conjunction with outside Immigration Counsel; assists the University Transparency Officer by reviewing public records requests; and assists the President’s Office with general office coverage.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree in paralegal studies; at least two years of related experience; ability to handle multiple projects; experience with complex and sensitive legal matters; and experience working with constituents required. Bachelor’s degree; experience working in a post-secondary education setting or government agency; and experience working in a large, varied, decentralized organization preferred.
