Summary:
Hancock Daniel is seeking an Associate Attorney (approximately 1-5 years of experience) to advise clients on healthcare regulatory matters, including certificate of public need (COPN), licensure, and Medicare and Medicaid enrollment and certification. The ideal candidate will be client-service oriented with the ability to help clients ensure compliance and avoid or mitigate risk along with having a strong understanding of state and federal healthcare regulatory frameworks, particularly those governing hospital and outpatient facility development.
Qualifications:
- Admission to Virginia State Bar in good standing (or ability to waive in)
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively on a team
- A drive for excellence and strong client service
- Ability to develop relationships and build trust
- Strong academic credentials
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in State and Federal Regulatory Requirements for Healthcare Facility Development
- Knowledge of Virginia Certificate of Public Need (COPN)
- Understanding Healthcare Regulatory Compliance
- Experience working in the Healthcare Industry
