We’re looking for a Paralegal - Hybrid in Shakopee, MN

Entrust is seeking an agile and detail-oriented Paralegal to partner closely with attorneys in our Legal Department on a wide variety of corporate matters as well as litigation/regulatory support and general department management. The Paralegal must be organized, efficient, and proactive, with a strong work ethic, exceptional organizational and time management skills, and a strong attention to detail.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a fast learner who welcomes new challenges.

How you will make an impact: 

The following represent the key anticipated responsibilities of the role.  This is a new role at Entrust and may expand to include responsibilities in additional areas as needed.

  • Manage wide variety of subsidiary matters, including new registrations, consolidations, name changes, and ongoing management of entities in both the U.S. and foreign jurisdictions, and partner with global controllers on local subsidiary changes.

  • Assist in managing legal inbox and triaging general legal inquiries; exercise sound judgment on escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date entity lists, corporate records, and organizational charts, including leveraging entity management tool to improve efficiency. 

  • Support legal team on M&A or other legal transactional matters as needed.

  • Support in-house counsel with KYC and other internal and external record requests. 

  • Manage registered agent for U.S. entities. 

  • Conduct legal research as needed regarding matters impacting ongoing business objectives.

  • Provide support related to administrative proceedings and litigation as needed, including gathering and review of documents for discovery/subpoena responses.

  • Maintain legal documents and electronic files, including confidential records, with high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Participate in special projects, including within the legal team and cross-functionally, as needed.

  • Prepare correspondence as needed and provide general administrative support to legal team.

 

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:         

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies or Legal Studies or a Bachelor’s Degree and a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program.

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the jurisdiction where the individual resides.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, research skills, sound judgment, thorough, and accurate with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word and Power Point, SharePoint). Willingness to learn new technologies as needed.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work streams to meet critical, short-term deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to identify and assess risks and escalate issues to in-house attorneys, as needed.

  • In house experience a plus, or experience working closely with in-house counsel.

  • Adept at working with and learning new technologies/systems.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to work cross-functionally.

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $79,219-$116,188 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
