A leading AmLaw 100 firm<\/b> is seeking a mid -level Patent Litigation Associate<\/b> to join its nationally recognized intellectual property litigation group. This team is built for hands -on experience<\/b>, offering a strong partner -to -associate ratio<\/b> and direct access to senior litigators on high -stakes matters.

Role and Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Represent clients in patent litigation matters<\/b> in U.S. district courts.
    <\/li>
  • Participate in ITC investigations<\/b> and PTAB proceedings<\/b>.
    <\/li>
  • Draft substantive motions, briefs, and case strategy materials.
    <\/li>
  • Take an active role in fact and expert discovery<\/b>, including taking and defending depositions<\/b>.
    <\/li>
  • Work closely with partners<\/b> on case strategy, client interaction, and key decisions.
    <\/li>
  • Contribute to matters that often move toward trial or final hearing<\/b>.
    <\/li><\/ul>

      Requirements<\/h3>
      • 3–5 years of patent litigation experience at a law firm.
        <\/li>
      • Experience representing both patent owners and accused infringers.
        <\/li>
      • Exposure to district court litigation, with ITC and/or PTAB experience preferred.
        <\/li>
      • Technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
        <\/li>
      • USPTO registration is a plus, but not required.
        <\/li>
      • Strong academic credentials with excellent writing and analytical skills.
        <\/li>
      • Admitted to the Texas Bar (required).
        <\/li><\/ul>
