GLP Attorneys seeks a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal to join our team. The position involves supporting our North Washington Attorneys from Burlington, Washington. After successful onboarding, a hybrid work schedule will be considered.
In this position, you will:
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain contact with our clients from intake through claim resolution
- Draft letters and other correspondence for attorney review
- Respond to discovery
- Draft witness disclosures
- Create and maintain pleading/discovery filing
- Prepare ER 904 and other Trial Documents
- Calendar events such as discovery deadlines, depositions, and IMEs
- Draft Demand Letters
- Provide litigation support and prepare cases for Trial
- Help manage and perform the administrative duties required for effective case management, including but not limited to setting up new client files, corresponding with 1st and 3rd parties, conducting 30/60/90-day client reviews, filing client-related correspondence, ordering preliminary case records, completing account balance, filing, scanning, copying and more
Qualified candidates should have experience including:
- 2+ years of experience, experience in plaintiff’s personal injury is preferred
- Litigation experience is required
- A proven ability to manage a large caseload
- The capacity to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment with superb attention to detail while managing many tasks simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication and the desire to work collaboratively with attorneys, shareholders, clients, health care providers, and staff
- Competency in setting priorities and exercising independent judgment

GLP Attorneys determines the compensation for positions using local, national, and industry-specific data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wages in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our firm. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Compensation will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
The base pay range for a non-exempt Paralegal or Senior Paralegal in North Washington is $29.00 - $40.00/hour +. Bonuses are awarded based on production – production varies by the legal team.
GLP Attorneys proudly offers a competitive total rewards package. In addition to the base rate and bonuses, the firm provides employees with vision, dental, medical/rx insurance (with the option to open a health savings account), life insurance, a firm-sponsored employee assistance program, and a 401(k)-retirement plan with a discretionary safe harbor and profit-sharing feature. GLP Attorneys sponsors 100% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the HSA preferred medical plan ($3k deductible), 75% for the base plan ($1k deductible), and 75% for the buy-up plan ($750 deductible). The firm sponsors 25% of all medical dependent coverage. GLP Attorneys sponsors 75% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the vision plan and 25% for those enrolled on a dental plan. Employees are responsible for the premiums for dependent coverage on the vision and dental plans.
