
Key Responsibilities:
- Logs in hearing notices, settlement and administrative conferences to calendar
- Keeps files updated by contacting and communicating with attorneys on case progress
- Maintaining Excel spreadsheets for continuous monitoring re: monies being collected re: TPL/WC Settlements and underpayments
- Assisting with the preparation and filing of legal documents and correspondence
- Responding to Third Party Liability Lien hold requests
- Proofreading legal documents for the manager and paralegal
- Provides support to the department as needed
Educational Requirements:
- Associate’s degree and/or 3 years’ legal experience in Workers Compensation or Liability field
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- Must have attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
- Long term interest in risk, legal, workers compensation, or related field
- Experience with shared files, Adobe, Foxit
