Legal Intern

The Legal Intern will be responsible for assisting with all general corporate legal work for Viaero Wireless Technologies, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliated entities, including NE Colorado Cellular, Inc. (Viaero Wireless), Viaero Fiber Networks, LLC, Industrial Communications West, LLC, and Industrial Tower West, LLC. 

Responsibilities: 

• Research and analyze legal sources (statutes, case law, codes, articles) to prepare documents for General Counsel.
• Assist in drafting legal documents (contracts, agreements, corporate resolutions).
• Organize and maintain corporate records and files.
• Prepare reports and summaries on legal matters affecting the corporation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and assist with preparation of compliance reports.
• Support General Counsel with clerical tasks, document preparation, meeting attendance, note-taking, and reporting.
• Learn and apply legal principles and procedures in a corporate environment.
• Perform administrative functions as needed by General Counsel (calendaring, filing, organizing)

Qualifications: 

• Currently enrolled in an accredited law school with at least one year completed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail for reviewing and proofreading legal documents.
• Understanding of legal terminology and principles.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ethical judgment and confidentiality understanding.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks (substance screen, criminal background, MVR).
• The position is a temporary full-time position to benefit a law student with practical experience during a planned break from attending school.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment checks, including substance screen, criminal background, and MVR 

Anticipated pay range is $27 to $32 per hour. The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and industry experience.
