As the Law Firm Subvertical Leader within our Financial Institutions Practice Solutions (FIPs) team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, client delivery excellence, and thought leadership for the Law Firm subvertical (including accounting firms, consultancies, law firms, and other advisory organizations) within the insurance sector. You will partner closely with sales, product, and service teams to develop tailored solutions that meet the evolving risk management needs of professional services clients.
This is a highly visible role requiring deep industry expertise, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for achieving growth target(s) through new and expanded business and client retention.
- Develops and communicates our subvertical value proposition, both internally and externally.
- Keep tabs on what clients need and our competition is doing within the subvertical.
- Manages subvertical pipeline and sales opportunities working closely with Region Growth Leaders and Sales Operations.
- Leads account planning, client satisfaction and at-risk processes for subvertical clients, working with Industry Division Leader and Sales Operations.
- Builds and maintains external internet site, brochure and subvertical sales materials, and develops and launches marketing and sales campaigns, working with Marketing.
- Ensures FIPS has a presence at relevant subindustry conferences and events.
- Attracts top subvertical talent, with a focus on growth roles.
- Acts as executive sponsor and/or relationship manager on large subvertical clients and pursuits.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, JD) preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in insurance, professional services, risk management, or a related financial services environment.
- Valid Property & Casualty License
- Proven track record of driving growth and achieving sales or client expansion targets within a specialized market or subvertical.
- Strong client management experience, including account planning, client satisfaction initiatives, and client retention strategies.
- Experience managing complex pipelines and collaborating closely with regional growth leaders and sales operations teams.
- Executive presence and experience acting as a sponsor or senior relationship lead on major accounts or client pursuits.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience attracting and developing talent, particularly in sales and client-facing roles.
- Willingness to travel to client sites, conferences, and key industry events (estimated up to 20%).

Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $275,000-$375,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
