Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists with drafting, reviewing, and organizing construction and vendor contracts.
- Monitors and maintains litigation files, coordinates with outside counsel, and supports internal reporting.
- Supports compliance with state and federal regulations, including license renewals and filings.
- Maintains corporate records, assists with entity formation, and manages annual reports and filings.
- Assists with insurance claims, certificates of insurance, and indemnity provisions in contracts.
- Tracks and manages regulatory licenses across jurisdictions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Open office environment.
- Occasional work outside normal business hours as needed
- Travel as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably in the construction or insurance industry
- Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance, and risk management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required
- Direct experience may be substituted for education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting a construction or home services business

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds frequently
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
- Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.
- With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others
- Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad
