Full Time

MDK, an innovative law firm, is seeking a Training Specialist to lead firm-wide training initiatives, develop engaging learning experiences, and support managers in training their teams. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic learning professional who thrives on designing interactive training programs and enhancing employee development.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Design & Develop Training: Create engaging, interactive training content that incorporates various learning styles. Develop both e-learning and in-person training modules, using innovative instructional design techniques.

 

  • Firm-Wide Training & Support: Assign and track company-wide training, ensuring compliance. Guide leaders in developing effective training strategies for their teams and assist in identifying and addressing training gaps.

 

  • LMS Administration: Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate training assignments, reporting, and compliance tracking. Provide insights on training participation and effectiveness.

 

  • Facilitation & Employee Development: Lead engaging soft skills training sessions and conduct new hire orientation to support smooth onboarding.

 

  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with leadership to align training with business objectives. Stay current on learning trends, introduce innovative training methods, and evaluate effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate training, learning & development, or HR with a focus on training content creation and facilitation.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and engagement strategies.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS); familiarity with Paycom is a plus.
  • Proficiency in training development software such as Camtasia, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
