General Objectives
Kalexius offers global corporate governance services to large multinationals through its Odyssey by Kalexius division.
We are looking for an attorney with experience in international corporate governance matters and a genuine interest in project management and leadership. We offer the opportunity to gain some unique managerial experience in a high-growth, international environment while fostering long-term relationships with Fortune 500 clients.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage a global team of lawyers and paralegals delivering corporate governance services to our clients;
- Take ownership of large-scale corporate governance projects across the world, working hand-in-hand with our internal team and network of local counsel in 100+ jurisdictions;
- Conduct global corporate compliance reviews across jurisdictions;
- Prepare and review drafts and coordinate filings of legal documentation;
- Support the team in relation to legal research on corporate requirements, including annual reporting and filing obligations of legal entities, across multiple jurisdictions;
- Provide regular reporting to clients on progress of tasks and volume of services;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal entities, including by updating legal entity management databases;
- Support business development activities, including by attending conferences and producing thought leadership content.
Education
Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Bar of any US state or Canadian province.
Experience
A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience working on international corporate legal matters.
Languages
Additional language skills are welcomed.
IT Skills
IT literate. At ease using Office suite, Sharepoint and web-based tools.
