Iowa City Law Office seeking organized and professional receptionist to join our team. Primarily responsible for answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and performing various administrative tasks to support our legal staff.
Candidate will need to deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all visitors, have excellent communication and customer service skills, a basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures/systems with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Administration – Send out and receive mail, documents, supplies and packages. Distribute items to mailboxes as requested. File and keep good records. Maintain an organized filing system for messages. Manage a schedule for those needing support and schedule appointments as required.
- Guest services – Welcome clients who arrive at the office and clarify the purpose of their visit and who they want to see. Answer all phone calls and emails sent to the main office and provide inter-office messages as requested.
