The Missouri Attorney General's Office is seeking an attorney to serve as an Assistant Attorney General working on sunshine compliance and other matters in Administration. This position would work on reviewing requests made to the Attorney General's Office for records under the Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610. Preferred experience/skills:
- Familiarity with Missouri Sunshine Law and/or open record requests to governmental bodies
- Drafting documents and correspondence
- Commitment to public service
- Excellent legal writing/oral advocacy
- Handling pre-filing investigation, discovery, motion practice, and depositions
- Litigation experience
The position may involve intermittent daytime or overnight travel within Missouri.
